HIFI raises $37M to expand stablecoin payments, tokenized markets
Stablecoin infrastructure firm HIFI raised $37 million in a Series A funding round led by Left Lane Capital, the company told Cointelegraph. CEO Zach Walsh said this is HIFI’s first priced funding round and that the firm is processing roughly $7 billion in annualized volume through its platform.

Why It Matters
The funding arrives as on-chain stablecoin use for payments and cross-border transfers is expanding, increasing demand for infrastructure that links blockchains to traditional banking rails and supports tokenized financial markets. HIFI plans to use the capital to scale its tokenized capital markets infrastructure and broaden its stablecoin payments products.
Key Facts

HIFI, a company that builds infrastructure to move dollars into and out of stablecoins and connect those digital assets to banking rails, raised $37 million in a Series A round led by Left Lane Capital. CEO Zach Walsh told Cointelegraph the financing is the firm's first priced funding round, though he did not disclose the company's valuation. Walsh said HIFI is currently processing about $7 billion in annualized volume through its platform.
The raise comes amid growing on-chain stablecoin activity for payments and cross-border transfers. Chainalysis reported cross-border stablecoin flows increased 77.5% to $220.3 billion in the 12 months ending June 2026, even as the broader crypto market contracted over that period. Large incumbents in traditional finance, including Visa and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), have been exploring blockchain-based payments and settlement infrastructure, creating demand for firms that bridge digital assets and bank systems.
HIFI's product suite supports customers settling the cash side of tokenized repo and Treasury transactions in US dollars, sending payouts through US banking rails and cards, and converting stablecoins to card-based payouts via Visa Direct. The company said the new funding will be used to scale its tokenized capital markets infrastructure and expand its stablecoin payments offerings.
HIFI was among more than 30 firms that took part in DTCC's July production trades using tokenized securities; participants included BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Nasdaq. The DTCC trials covered functions such as US Treasury and repo delivery-versus-payment trades, equity transactions, securities lending and collateral workflows, and DTCC plans to launch its Tokenization Service in October. Separately, Visa reported more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs live globally in its fiscal second quarter and said payment volume through those programs increased nearly 200% year over year, with its stablecoin settlement volume exceeding a $20 billion annualized run rate.
