Where to preorder the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max

Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max at its September 2026 "Sunrise and shine" event. Both models bring a newer A20 Pro chip that boosts GPU performance and increases neural-core capacity to support AI-related workloads, along with unspecified camera improvements. Preorders are open now ahead of the phones' arrival on September 18.

The 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro begins at $1,199 for the 256GB configuration and tops out at $2,399 for a 2TB model. The larger 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299 for 256GB and reaches $2,499 for 2TB. Apple lists four finish options for both models: deep black, silver, glacier, and burgundy.

At the time of publication, unlocked versions of both the Pro and Pro Max are available only through Apple's store. Apple is offering financing (36 monthly payments at 0% APR), enrollment in the Apple Upgrade program, and trade-in credit of up to $885 toward a new phone; carriers may provide additional trade-in or promotional credits.

Retailers have listed carrier-locked units early in the preorder phase: Best Buy is offering models tied to Verizon or AT&T, while Walmart has listings through Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Carrier promotions vary: AT&T will apply billing credits over 36 months to cover the cost if you trade in an iPhone 14 or newer and sign up for the AT&T Extra plan; T-Mobile is offering the 18 Pro via bill credits for customers who transfer their number or trade in a qualifying phone under its Experience Beyond plan (with more limited credits for existing customers); and Verizon's Simplicity Pro plan, costing $80 per month if switching carriers, includes a free iPhone 18 Pro delivered via monthly credits that require remaining with the carrier to realize the full value.
