Bitcoin climbed above its 365-day simple moving average on Sept. 22 after 310 days below that level, a development Altcoin Pro says has historically preceded 12-month gains in five comparable instances. The research firm, however, places greater emphasis on whether bitcoin can remain above its 200-day moving average, which it says is a more timely indicator of trend direction.
