Cardano has been added to the official x402 software kit, enabling developers to integrate ADA and Cardano-issued tokens as payment options for apps and AI agents. The Cardano implementation currently supports TypeScript and has completed a transaction on a preproduction network, but it has not yet been used on mainnet or demonstrated commercial-scale payments.
