Solana has increased its transaction size limit from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes with a rollout called Transaction V1, more than tripling the previous cap. The change gives developers additional space for complex on-chain operations like multi-step trades, corporate wallet approvals and privacy proofs, and is described as reducing Solana's gap with Ethereum.
