A Castle Labs analysis of live order books found that Hyperliquid's onchain perpetuals platform held as much resting liquidity as the median of major centralized exchanges (Binance, Bybit and OKX) for four out of five crypto assets, and executed trades at lower cost. The remaining differences between onchain and centralized venues were driven primarily by how each prices products tied to stocks and commodities when those underlying markets are closed.
