TotalEnergies said its Acacia-5 well in Block 17, discovered in June 2026 offshore Angola, will start producing within three months via a fast-track tie-in to the nearby Pazflor FPSO. The company expects the find to add about 6,000 barrels per day to Block 17 output and has also agreed to take a 40% operated stake in two additional Lower Congo Basin exploration blocks with Angola’s national concessionaire.
