UEFA asked a Manhattan federal court to block FIFA’s U.S. subsidiaries from intervening in its effort to obtain evidence under a U.S. discovery law tied to a potential Swiss criminal case involving FIFA President Gianni Infantino. The European governing body says FIFA (Americas) Inc and FWC2026 US Inc are improperly attempting to act in place of their Swiss parent and would only delay the proceedings.
