Bitget Wallet Adds Reality's Tokenized U.S. Stocks Alongside Ondo And xStocks
Bitget Wallet will list Reality-issued tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs (rTokens) on Arbitrum and Morph beginning Sept. 15, adding a third tokenized-equity issuer to the wallet alongside Ondo and xStocks. The announcement says the integration brings more than 1,700 tokenized assets, though Bitget's own product pages and Reality's catalog reference roughly 600 U.S. stocks and ETFs.
Why It Matters
The listing expands retail distribution for tokenized equities through a wallet Bitget says serves over 100 million users, potentially broadening access to U.S. market exposure via crypto-native channels. It also raises attention to product disclosures and availability, since Reality is part of Bitget’s ecosystem and the stated asset counts differ across company materials.
Key Facts
- listing date: Sept. 15
- tokens: rTokens (Reality) on Arbitrum and Morph
- other issuers on wallet: Ondo and xStocks
- bitget wallet user base (company claim): more than 100 million users
- release asset count: more than 1,700 tokenized stocks and ETFs (per release)
Bitget Wallet said it will begin listing Reality’s rTokens — tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds — on Arbitrum and Morph starting Sept. 15. The addition makes Reality the third tokenized-equity issuer available in the self-custodial wallet, which already supports products from Ondo and xStocks. Bitget highlighted its claimed user base of over 100 million, suggesting a broad retail channel for distribution of tokenized equities.
The company release asserted the integration brings more than 1,700 tokenized stocks and ETFs, while Reality’s catalog and Bitget’s own enterprise and FAQ pages reference roughly 600-plus U.S. stocks and ETFs that together cover about 95% of U.S. market trading volume. That discrepancy in asset counts is notable given the differing figures across the release and product pages.
Reality describes each rToken as backed one-to-one by underlying U.S. shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer, with reserves attested daily by The Network Firm. During U.S. market hours, Reality routes orders to Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity rather than relying solely on on-chain pools. Examples of available tickers listed include rNVDA, rTSLA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rSPY and rQQQ.
On distribution and mechanics, eligible dividends are paid into wallets in stablecoins, and Bitget’s rToken FAQ notes cash dividends are credited after a 30% tax withholding and automatically converted to USDT. rTokens are said to be tradable 24 hours a day during five weekdays (with about 90 tokens tradable on weekends), composable within DeFi, and usable as collateral. The release also emphasized an open API for wallets, exchanges and protocols to connect to rToken liquidity. Separately, Ondo has pushed its catalog past 430 assets and supplies Trust Wallet’s tokenized stock offering; prior market activity included Bitget cancelling SpaceX allocations after xStocks failed to deliver underlying shares. BGB, Bitget’s platform token, traded at $1.93 on Sept. 14, down 1.3% over 24 hours and 3.6% over seven days, with a market value near $1.35 billion according to CoinGecko.
